Miami, F.L., May 10, 2011 -   Houck Anderson, P.A. today announced the appointment of Gordon Connell as Director of Marketing & Development.

In his new position, Connell will have responsibility for Houck Anderson’s marketing and outreach strategy, public relations and business development efforts in a newly created position with the firm. Connell also maintains a marine business consulting practice gordon.D.connell Consulting, LLC in addition to his role with Houck Anderson.

Connell joins Houck Anderson, P.A. from Marine Industries Association of South Florida, a nearly fifty year old recreational marine trade association representing 800 businesses, where he served as Director of Association Services. He spent 11 years with the Association, the last six as Director of Association Services heading up internal operations, program and member development, marketing, public relations, and supporting the advocacy initiatives of the organization.
